Role Overview:

This role involves analyzing complex business problems by leveraging data from both internal and external sources to provide actionable insights to decision-makers.

The key responsibilities include identifying and interpreting trends, constructing forecasts, and making strategic recommendations. The role also requires creating specifications for reports, leading cross-functional teams, and producing datasets for analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and influences that impact business outcomes.

Construct forecasts and develop strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge.

Develop and communicate reports and analytics based on business needs and data availability.

Lead cross-functional teams to address business challenges, providing consultation and guidance. Build and validate key performance indicators (KPIs), and create SQL queries and data visualizations for ad-hoc and ongoing reporting needs.

Establish data governance standards and ensure data quality across ingestion, processing, and documentation.

Improve existing processes through automation and efficient workflows.

Evaluate and implement new technologies, tools, and frameworks for high-volume data processing.

Support end-to-end analysis to influence product strategy, data architecture, and reporting decisions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8-9 years of relevant experience.

Alternatives:

PhD or Law degree with 6 years of experience.

Master's degree with 7 years of experience.

Associate degree with 9 years of experience.

High School diploma with 10 years of experience.

Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, and solve problems creatively.

Expertise in designing and building data and analytics solutions that support key business decisions.

Proficiency in data mining, statistical analysis, and SQL query development.

Strong communication skills for translating complex data insights into business-relevant language.
