Data Architect - SQL and Cloud Knowledge

Requirements

Must have:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline; Masters degree is preferred - At least 7 years of experience in a data architect capacity - Demonstrated expertise with Databricks - Strong understanding of database structural systems and data mining techniques - Extensive background with ETL processes, CI/CD pipelines, and various data processing technologies - Proficiency in programming with Python and SQL - Solid grasp of data modeling methodologies and history of delivering data architecture - Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail for organizing and analyzing large sets of information - Superior communication skills with the ability to demystify complex ideas for non-technical audiences - Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment while managing various projects concurrently

Responsibilities:

- Create and execute strategic data plans that align with our organizational needs, encompassing the design and deployment of databases and data analysis systems - Collaborate with team members to convert data into vital insights and knowledge that facilitate informed business decisions - Provide technical guidance and support for our data technologies, including ETL workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and database management - Design and supervise the execution of data models, database structures, data access protocols, and data table maintenance - Address intricate data-related challenges, including large-scale data migrations and the handling of both structured and unstructured data - Ensure that our data strategies and architectures comply with relevant regulations - Establish best practices for data coding to maintain quality and precision - Work together with system architects, software engineers, and other key stakeholders to ensure that data solutions are resilient, scalable, and performance-optimized
