ProFocus is searching for a Data Engineer for full time position for our client in Beaverton, Oregon - this position is remote or hybrid.
We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, adept, and motivated Data Engineer with strong SQL and ETL experience to join the Data Engineering team.
Contribute to the design and implementation of data models
Build, test, and maintain data architectures
Contribute to the alignment of architectures with business requirements
Extract data from divergent systems and load into a warehouse
Work with QA to build in telemetry and quality
Investigate and defuse time-sensitive data incidents
Work directly with Analysts, Quants, and Data Science and any other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide end-to-end data solutions
Engage in the design process and identify opportunities for improvement
Participate in CI/CD deployments.
Provide ongoing support and maintenance for data pipelines.
Continue to grow and improve the business's data platforms
5+ years of experience in data engineering
Demonstrable experience building and maintaining scalable ETL platforms
Expertise in Python and SQL
Have strong verbal and written communication skills
Exposure to Snowflake, Spark, Hadoop, and other Big Data technologies would be ideal, not required
