Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Junior Data Engineer to support the development and maintenance of data pipelines, ETL processes, databases, and cloud-based data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines.
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
- Assist with data modeling, data warehousing, and database management.
- Use Python for data processing and automation.
- Support cloud-based data solutions using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Monitor data quality and troubleshoot pipeline or integration issues.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, analysts, and development teams.
Qualifications
- Good understanding of SQL, Python, databases, and ETL concepts.
- Basic knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
- Exposure to tools such as Snowflake, Databricks, Spark, ADF, Airflow, or dbt is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of relevant experience; recent graduates with strong technical skills are encouraged to apply.
