Hybrid - 1 days onsite per week - or - 100% remote In this position, you will apply your strong technical background and sharp eye for detail to support a wide range of Data initiatives.
By pairing hands-on technical skills with advanced problem-solving abilities, you will help ensure our production environments operate reliably and meet high performance and quality standards.
You will be a key contributor in delivering accurate, dependable, and timely data products. You will be successful in this role if you are highly detail-oriented, naturally curious, and motivated to tackle complex challenges through thoughtful analysis and critical thinking.
The Data team is a collaborative and fast-moving group dedicated to delivering innovative and actionable data insights. We work closely with business partners to design, maintain, and continuously improve standardized data products that support critical business functions such as financial planning, operational performance, strategic decision-making, and executive reporting.
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve data production issues efficiently and effectively
Collaborate proactively with the DevOps team to assess and improve server and database performance
Provide clear and timely communication to stakeholders regarding production incidents, progress, and expected resolution timelines
Oversee and optimize scheduling of automated production data workflows
Continuously monitor production processes to detect failures, risks, or degradation before impact occurs
Identify data processing inefficiencies and optimize queries to improve performance and responsiveness
Conduct impact assessments to evaluate how proposed code changes may affect downstream reporting
Execute, monitor, and communicate status updates for recurring Data products processes
Review, test, and validate code prior to deployment to ensure adherence to functional and technical standards
3+ years of experience in a data quality assurance or similar role
Bachelor's degree, preferably in computer science or related field
3+ years advanced SQL querying experience required
1+ years of programming or scripting languages such as Python or Bash preferred
Experience with Tableau or other business intelligence tools is a plus
Strong ability to identify root causes of data issues and implement effective, timely solutions
