Data Scientist

The Role

• Own ambiguous, high-impact problem spaces across product and business domains, from question framing to analysis and solution implementation.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders and leadership to shape product strategy and anticipate future challenges.
• Design and evaluate experiments to measure the impact of product and strategic changes.
• Analyze product data to uncover root causes of metric movements.
• Develop tools, methodologies, and frameworks to enhance data-driven decision-making for the team and the company.
• Mentor other data scientists and elevate team standards through best practices.

What You'll Need

• 7+ years of experience in an analytical or quantitative role, with at least 5 years as a Data Scientist or similar, demonstrating senior-level scope and autonomy.
• Proven ability to tackle complex data challenges, including deep ownership of product areas and leading cross-functional efforts.
• Expertise in statistical techniques such as regression, hypothesis testing, and causal inference.
• Experience mentoring data scientists and improving team processes and standards.
• Strong communication skills, capable of translating business needs into analytical questions and explaining technical results to diverse audiences.
• Extensive experience with procedural programming languages like Python or R for data manipulation, modeling, and analysis.
