Data Scientist - Python & Machine Learning

Requirements

Must have:

- Bachelors degree in a related field - Must have legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship - Active TS/SCI Polygraph security clearance is required - Over 3 years of relevant experience in data engineering and analytics, particularly with production data pipelines and stakeholder-driven analysis - At least 2 years of experience developing solutions in Python and SQL, including data ingestion, cleaning, transformation, and validation - Proven expertise in building and maintaining ETL/ELT workflows and troubleshooting data anomalies - Minimum of 2 years of experience in designing dashboards and translating requirements into actionable visual insights - Must be able to work onsite at the clients secure facility 100% of the time - Masters degree is preferred - Professional certifications in Tableau and Python are a plus

Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and sustain data pipelines for processing and analyzing extensive and complex datasets to support client objectives - Utilize advanced data science methodologies such as supervised and unsupervised machine learning, spatial analysis, and time-series modeling to generate actionable insights - Construct, evaluate, and enhance analytic methods and AI/ML solutions for integration into user-facing technical tools - Collaborate with client stakeholders and mission operations teams to capture requirements, share findings, and customize analytic solutions based on evolving needs - Document coding, workflows, and analytic processes in adherence to best practices for reproducibility and knowledge sharing within the team - Prepare and deliver succinct, clear technical briefings and presentations tailored to varied audiences, including technical peers and senior leadership - Swiftly respond to urgent analytic requests, adjusting to changing mission priorities while upholding high standards of technical communication and rigor
