Data Scientist with Python and SQL

Requirements

Must have:

- Proven experience in data science projects. - Extensive understanding of Statistics, Machine Learning, and data engineering. - Familiarity with data quality issues and their impact on statistical analysis. - Practical problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. - Strong passion and expertise in applying data science to tackle customer challenges. - Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. - Strong teamwork skills coupled with the capability to work independently. - Commitment to high standards of code quality and proficient use of version control systems. - Proficiency in statistical programming languages like R, Python, and Matlab. - Solid understanding of cloud environments, specifically Azure. - Experience with Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities:

- Create data science solutions to address business challenges. - Write maintainable and efficient production-level code, ensuring quality through tests; our tech stack includes Python, Databricks, GIT, Azure, and SQL. - Integrate models into production on a regular basis, potentially on a daily or weekly schedule. - Collaborate closely with customers and Product Owners in daily activities. - Engage in a highly collaborative Agile environment, partaking in ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives. - Document and convey the results of analyses or models to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Stay updated with new engineering practices and technologies, while enhancing our Agile approach. - Adapt quickly to projects, comprehend analytics objectives, and work with ambiguous datasets. - Communicate technical concepts in clear, understandable language to a diverse audience.
