Database Administrator

The Role

• Perform database administration, including designing databases, tables, stored procedures, views, and triggers
• Design and develop ETL solutions
• Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and database design
• Participate in High Availability / Disaster Recovery tests of database systems
• Develop T-SQL code, SSIS ETL packages, and SSRS reports
• Plan, test, coordinate, and perform database version upgrades and apply security patches

What You'll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive database administration experience
• Expertise in Microsoft SQL Server, including monitoring security, performance optimization, and developing T-SQL code
• Experience with SSIS ETL packages and SSRS reports
• Proven ability to plan, test, coordinate, and perform database version upgrades and security patches
• Experience with SQL Server Replication
