A leading global asset management firm serving over 2,000 clients is seeking an experienced database developer to join its talented IT division.
We are seeking a talented developer to drive the analysis, development, and testing of data warehouse and business intelligence applications.
This candidate will work with an existing development team to support the existing data platforms and play a key role in the development of target state warehouses and applications.

Work closely with research analysts and portfolio managers to comprehend the data needs and data usage
Propose and design database solutions
Manage the issue resolution process for any complex application production problems
Implement database systems based on the solutions proposed and work closely with user to test and integrate the system into the current production environment
Use tools including SQL Server, T-SQL, SSIS, and SSRS/SSAS to define and implement improvements in the platform
Bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative field with preferred focus on Information Systems
6+ years of full development life cycle experience in large scale Data Warehouse environments
Extensive experience with SQL Server database environments leveraging databases, tables/views, stored procedures, agent jobs, etc.
Expert level T-SQL skills and good knowledge of SQL internals
Experience with SQL server Integration Services (SSIS) to integrate data from disparate sources, SSAS
Demonstrated experience with multiple reporting tools (SSRS, SSAS, Cognos, Business Objects)
