Asset Managements FIAM business unit is a distribution/client service organization dedicated to the institutional marketplace. This is one of the largest organizations serving the U.S. institutional marketplace with more than billion in assets under administration and over 750 institutional customers. We serve as a gateway to Fidelitys broad and deep institutional investment management capabilities.
You will contribute to a tremendously hardworking and diverse team responsible for building and maintaining multiple environments. The team has a passion for technology tempered by a level-headed approach to problem solving, and experience with build and deployment software.
Database developer with a combination of technical skills, communication skills and business knowledge.
Build and modify oracle SQL database packages and procedures
Crafts batch cycle procedures on major projects using Unix shell scripting and Control M
Build and modify ETL Informatica mappings The Expertise You Have
5 or more years of experience in a Database Engineering role.
Participate in the development, improvement, and maintenance of database applications both as an individual contributor and as a team member
Experience in the following areas - UNIX Shell Scripting and Informatica ETL.
Experience with Control M (or similar job scheduling AutoSys)
Ability to read and interpret physical data models
Proven knowledge of DBMS optimizer and performance tuning techniques
Experience with unit and regression testing for stored procedure and Informatica mapping development
Experience with CI/CD for database components deployment
Experience working in a high paced, dynamic, and culturally diverse environment
Experience with Agile development and management
Effective verbal and written communication skills
