Database Engineer

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Design and develop and support software applications.
2. Implement code, in accordance with best practices and coding guidelines.
3. Research and stay abreast of current technology trends, functionality, and implementation relevant to the corporate applications and technology.
4. Gain and maintain a thorough understanding of insurance business functions.
5. Identify and reduce development risks, performance problems, and downtime.
6. Maintain a high level of customer support.
7. Performs other related duties assigned.
8. Ability to interact with others in a professional manner.

SKILLS NEEDED:

1. Decisions Platform
2. Developing flows, rule sets, forms, and other features of the Decisions Rules Engine platform.
3. 2+ years of relevant experience preferred.
4. TSQL
5. For creating and maintaining stored procedures and querying databases.
