Database Engineer - SQL and NoSQL

Requirements

Must have:

- A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required - At least 8 years of experience in Database Engineering is necessary - Proficiency as a Database Administrator (DBA) and Database Engineer (DBE) - Familiarity with Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) like Oracle, Postgres, or similar - Experience collaborating with Systems and Software Engineers to implement and adjust backend databases for application interactions in a developmental setting - Experience with virtualization or containerization of databases - Skilled in using the Linux command line for database administration tasks - An active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government security clearance is essential before the start date, with the ability to acquire TS/SCI clearance beforehand

Responsibilities:

- Understand and analyze customer requirements to apply solid database knowledge for viable design solutions - Exhibit critical thinking and effectively communicate ideas and concepts - Integrate Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) products as part of tailored customer solutions - Employ problem-solving and analytical skills to address challenges - Acquire and maintain access to SCI programs and complete necessary polygraphs - Achieve Security+ certification within 60 days of employment
