Akkodis Group NordicsAkkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Chicago, IL/ Dallas, TX. This role requires strong Power Query expertise to perform advanced data transformations and streamline workflows through automation and error‑proofing.
$40/hour to $42/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Perform advanced data transformation using Power Query, including pivot/unpivot, merging datasets, applying conditional logic, and managing data types.
Develop and maintain complex Excel models using XLOOKUP, FILTER, INDEX/MATCH, dynamic arrays, and robust error‑handling functions.
Work with both structured and unstructured datasets to clean, shape, and organize data for analysis and reporting.
Automate repetitive tasks and streamline workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and quality through validation checks and detailed troubleshooting.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand data needs and deliver optimized, user‑friendly solutions.
Bachelor's degree in data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent hands‑on experience).
4–6 years of experience in data transformation, Power Query, and advanced Excel development.
Strong proficiency in Power Query for complex data shaping, including pivot/unpivot, merging, conditional columns, and data type management.Demonstrated ability to automate workflows and work confidently with structured and unstructured datasets while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.
