We are seeking a skilled DevSecOps Engineer to support automation, CI/CD pipeline development, and cloud-native deployments within a secure, multi-tenant environment.
The ideal candidate will have strong Python scripting skills, hands-on AWS experience, and a solid understanding of containerized and Kubernetes-based infrastructures.
This role focuses on automating manual processes, supporting developer workflows, and maintaining secure, scalable cloud environments.
Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions to replace manual operational processes
Build and support CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and DevSecOps best practices
Develop automation scripts using Python (preferred) and PowerShell in Windows and Linux environments
Deploy and manage microservices in containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
Configure, troubleshoot, and deploy Docker containers and Kubernetes workloads (EKS/OpenShift preferred)
Support application deployments and testing activities for development teams
Review source code repositories and produce technical and engineering documentation
Maintain DevOps and operational documentation
Conduct security remediation activities based on vulnerability and compliance scans
Provide technical guidance and operational support for platform services and microservices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Jira, Confluence, and chat-based collaboration tools
5–7 years of relevant IT or DevOps experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field
Strong experience with Python scripting, including AWS automation using Boto3
Experience developing and managing GitLab CI/CD pipelines
2–3 years of experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS or OpenShift preferred)
Hands-on experience with AWS services such as S3, ECS, CloudFormation, Lambda, API Gateway
Experience administering both Windows and Linux operating systems
Solid understanding of DevSecOps practices, secure SDLC, and CI/CD workflows
Familiarity with cloud-native and serverless architectures
Experience supporting development and testing environments
Strong written and verbal communication skills
CompTIA Security+ CE (or DoD 8570 IAT Level II equivalent)
Active Top Secret Security Clearance, with ability to obtain SCI
U.S. Citizenship required
AWS certifications (DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar)
Experience with AWS Lambda and ECS-based deployments
Experience with geospatial technologies (e.g., ArcGIS)
Strong troubleshooting skills in containerized and cloud environments
Secure, cloud-based, multi-tenant infrastructure
