The Role
- Assist with supporting leadership, architecture, project teams, and end users in identifying system requirements, and contribute to writing system specifications and implementation plans.
- Participate in hands-on configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of IT solutions, including cloud, non-cloud, and hybrid-cloud systems.
- Collaborate with other IT teams, leadership, and external partners to ensure the secure and reliable hosting of applications within Exelon's complex enterprise environment.
- Provide input into presentations to Engineering and Architecture Review Boards, contributing to the development of future plans and migration strategies.
- Design, implement, and support custom system integrations with other platforms, maintaining knowledge in current and evolving IT systems technologies.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Networking with 2-4 years of experience, or 3-6 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure design, application design, or cloud computing.
- Proven experience with system administration and drafting technical documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to think critically and apply your skillset beyond day-to-day operations, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of financial impact analysis and understanding of monitoring concepts and tools.
- Familiarity with Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) concepts, strong debugging skills, and the ability to write and refine SQL queries are highly preferred.
