DevOps Engineer

Job Summary

• The Lead DevOps Engineer will play a pivotal role in our client's innovative data center hosting strategy, known as Orange Rocket. This strategy is designed to introduce and enable cutting-edge technological capabilities across a wide range of applications and programs.

Job Responsibilities

• Play a key role in our client's modern data center hosting strategy, Orange Rocket, which aims to introduce and enable new technology capabilities across applications and programs.
• Develop automation and assist in migrating the entire developer community to Helm.
• Coach and mentor other engineers on the Developer Enablement work.
• Participate in the creation of a non-production testing environment for robust and predictive performance testing.
• Contribute to the modernization of all elements of testing and validation, including tools, standards, processes, governance, and metrics.

Skills Required

• Proficiency in deploying applications to Kubernetes / OpenShift using Helm.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Software Engineering with languages like Golang, Python, Java, or Javascript.
• Experience in CI / CD Pipelines with an understanding of integrating tools like Jenkins, Github, Jfrog Artifactory.
• Experience developing Jenkins Shared Libraries in Groovy.
• Familiarity with GitHub Actions.
• Experience developing and integrating with APIs.
• Expertise with Git and tools such as BitBucket / GitHub / Azure DevOps Server.
• Experience with Container Technologies – Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift.
• Experience writing Docker files and Building images for containerized services.
