DevOps Engineer with Salesforce

Requirements

Must have:

- Over seven (7) years of experience in complex project environments with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity as a DevOps Engineer - A minimum of two (2) years of experience utilizing the Salesforce Platform - Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator (preferred) - Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (preferred) - Salesforce Certified OmniStudio Developer (preferred) - Two (2) years of hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms such as Salesforce CLI, DevOps Center, Copado, or similar deployment automation tools - Two (2) years of experience with Event-Driven Architecture including Platform Events, Change Data Capture, and REST/SOAP services - Two (2) years of experience with the OmniStudio Suite including OmniScripts, FlexCards, DataMappers (formerly DataRaptors), and Integration Procedures - Two (2) years experiencing using Development Environments like Visual Studio Code, IntelliJ IDEA, or equivalent IDEs - Two (2) years of experience with Version Control using Git, including branching, merging, pull requests, and conflict resolution - Two (2) years of experience with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban - Two (2) years of experience in Release Planning, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives

Responsibilities:

- Design and implement backend automation logic using Apex Classes, Triggers, and Batch processes - Develop interactive front-end components and deployment interfaces utilizing Lightning Web Components - Engineer guided digital workflows and automated user journeys through low-code development tools like OmniScripts and Integration Procedures - Orchestrate complex data transformations and manage large-scale data operations with specialized data mapping tools - Ensure seamless data flow and communication between different platform layers and external systems - Enhance platform functionality through strategic automation using custom workflows and validation frameworks - Implement and troubleshoot system integrations with third-party tools and APIs using standard protocols (SOAP and REST) - Configure and maintain middleware connections for reliable data exchange - Manage API contracts and handle structured data formats such as JSON and XML - Enforce application security best practices based on platform security frameworks - Implement user permissions and access controls utilizing platform security features - Ensure code complies with strict security models and platform governance standards - Write efficient, high-performance code while adhering to platform limitations - Conduct thorough unit testing and perform peer code reviews while implementing automated testing frameworks - Manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines using modern integrated development environments - Maintain version control repositories and effective branching strategies - Orchestrate deployments across development, staging, and production environments using DevOps toolchains - Collaborate with Agile project management tools and methodologies to ensure project alignment - Stay updated with platform releases by reviewing release notes and assessing the impact on existing systems
