Requirements
Must have:
- Bachelors degree in a STEM discipline or a closely related field - At least 8 years of relevant engineering experience - Demonstrated success leading large development teams - Proven leadership track record in engineering assignments and delivery of engineering-intensive programs - Strong understanding of Agile methods, DevSecOps, and digital transformation - Working knowledge of the full engineering development lifecycle - Experience presenting to customers and to senior leadership, both internally and externally - Ability to travel up to 10% of the time - Active SECRET-level security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one
Responsibilities:
- Lead a multidisciplinary DevSecOps engineering team in Owego, NY - Oversee technical execution, cost control, and schedule performance across multiple software development efforts and programs - Manage the complete engineering development lifecycle, from concept and design through implementation - Ensure work follows established standards, processes, and engineering practices - Drive the adoption of modern tools, techniques, and approaches that improve engineering outcomes - Support team growth through performance reviews, career development, and staffing decisions - Handle program-level staffing needs, contract-related matters, recovery planning, and milestone participation - Coordinate and communicate with customers and senior management as needed
