Requirements
Must have:
- Bachelors degree or Certificate in Web Development, Computer Science, or a related field - Over 6 years of full stack web development experience, particularly with Drupal - More than 4 years of practical experience in Drupal, including custom module creation and theming - Proficiency in PHP, Twig, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - Familiarity with Drupal APIs, configuration management, and deployment workflows - Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards and related implementation strategies - Experience working with content migration tools such as Migrate API - Understanding of front-end frameworks like Bootstrap and JavaScript libraries such as React or jQuery - Experience integrating external systems using RESTful APIs and working with decoupled or headless Drupal architectures - Familiarity with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines - Comfortable working in remote Linux environments using CLI and Docker (preferred) - Experience with Figma for UI requirement interpretation (not design ownership)
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to assess requirements and design scalable Drupal solutions - Develop and construct Drupal 11 websites, incorporating custom modules, content types, themes, and integrations - Lead execution of content migration strategies, including bulk content transfer and metadata management - Build and sustain responsive, standards-compliant front-end components using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - Integrate third-party systems and services utilizing RESTful APIs and web services - Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across the entire stack - Develop and maintain technical documentation, and contribute to coding standards and best practices - Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on Drupal development and its capabilities - Stay up-to-date with Drupal core updates, contributed modules, and emerging web technologies - Optimize application performance, security, and scalability by implementing caching strategies and code refinement - Manage Drupal site elements such as content types, views, and user permissions
