One Tech Engineering is searching for an E&C Engineer for a position located in Denver, Colorado. The E&C Engineer will be responsible for managing capital engineering projects from initiation through completion.

The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5 years of related engineering experience.

E&C Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Lead full lifecycle project management including scope development, execution, and closeout.
  • Validate project justification and ensure stakeholder requirements are incorporated into scope.
  • Manage project budget, schedule, quality, and safety performance.
  • Coordinate procurement activities including hiring engineering consultants, contractors, and ordering materials/equipment.
  • Oversee project execution and conduct periodic field visits to monitor progress.
  • Ensure compliance with contract requirements for vendors, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Review and support design documentation and engineering drawings.
  • Conduct vendor/shop inspections and witness equipment testing when needed.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, environmental, sourcing, project controls, and engineering teams.
  • Facilitate project closeout and transition to operations teams.
Requirements of the E&C Engineer:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 5-7 years of engineering experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of project management experience.
  • Experience in utility, energy, or oil & gas industries strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and SAP preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam preferred.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
