EHS Manager

Title: EHS Manager

We are seeking an experienced EHS Manager to lead Environmental, Health & Safety programs at a high-volume food manufacturing facility. This hands-on role will focus on OSHA/EPA/DOT compliance, employee safety, incident prevention, and continuous improvement across the plant.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and maintain EHS programs, policies, training, and compliance initiatives.

Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.

Partner with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, HR, and employees to identify and control hazards.

Lead corrective actions, root-cause analysis, emergency response, and safety committee activities.

Manage OSHA, EPA, DOT, environmental, waste, and regulatory requirements.

Track EHS metrics and drive continuous improvement and employee engagement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in EHS, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.

3–5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT, and applicable regulations.

Experience with incident investigation, LOTO, machine safety, ergonomics, chemical safety, and risk assessments.

Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Food, dairy, cheese, or packaging manufacturing experience preferred.

CSP, ASP, CIH, or CHMM certification is a plus.
