Assist licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites and industrial facilities. Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to support accurate wiring and system layouts. Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as conduit bending, wire pulling, and fixture installation. Help with low voltage and high voltage wiring projects, ensuring compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards. Support the testing of electrical circuits using tools like ohmmeters to verify connections and troubleshoot issues. Participate in construction activities including frame carpentry when necessary to facilitate electrical installations. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Strong interest in electrical systems, construction, or related fields with some prior experience preferred. Hands-on familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters.
Experience or knowledge of industrial or commercial electrician work is a plus. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Understanding of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems in accordance with NEC standards.
Construction site experience demonstrating safety awareness and teamwork skills. Basic knowledge of frame carpentry or related construction skills is advantageous.
