Bay Colony SearchOur client is growing and expanding into new areas. New production processes are being developed and deployed at a fast pace, and we need a hands-on Process Engineer to help us get them right.
But we also need you to be the point of contact (POC) for a client who has outsourced some of their work to us.
You'll work very closely with them as they scale production and you'll also work closely with our Masking team to improve processes, make sure everything is documented, controlled, and optimized for safety, quality, and throughput.

Client-Facing Support
Serve as the primary point of contact for outsourced client accounts
Manage client communication regarding process updates, project timelines, and quality performance
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure client expectations and specifications are met
Address client concerns, escalate issues when needed, and follow up with resolution
Participate in client meetings and provide technical updates on production status
Maintain strong client relationships to ensure continued business and satisfaction
Process Development & Documentation
Document and establish procedures, equipment requirements, and controls for new and existing processes
Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and quality control plans
Establish and track key production and quality metrics
Recommend and implement process improvements to reduce waste and increase efficiency
Provide day-to-day engineering support to manufacturing teams
Help production achieve safety, quality, efficiency, and throughput goals
Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions
Support equipment validation, qualification, and maintenance planning
Collaborate with production supervisors and operators to optimize workflows
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Ability to work in a hands-on, fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills—both written and verbal
Ability to work cross-functionally with production and client teams
Must be onsite every day
Experience with process validation and documentation
Previous experience interfacing with clients or external stakeholders
Any chemistry experience is helpful
