Engineer II - Software Development

Requirements

Must have:

- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent with vocational or technical training - Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification - At least 2 years of experience in hotel engineering or maintenance - Knowledge of general maintenance, surface preparation, and painting - Must comply with state and federal certification and licensing requirements - Valid Drivers License required

Responsibilities:

- Respond to and resolve guest repair requests - Communicate maintenance issues effectively with guests - Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment - Conduct visual inspections of tools and machinery - Maintain inventory and requisition necessary parts - Ensure clear communication of daily activities and challenges to incoming shifts - Display proficiency across various maintenance categories - Utilize hand and power tools safely for repairs - Troubleshoot various equipment and plumbing issues - Assist with minor repairs, including painting and drywall - Use the Lockout/Tagout system for safety during maintenance - Train and mentor junior engineers - Execute Engineer on Duty responsibilities as needed - Follow all company safety and security protocols - Build and maintain positive working relationships with team members - Ensure professional appearance and conduct at all times
