Supervision Mechanical and Electrical Engineers and Designers
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide technical and engineering input for new business proposals and opportunities.
- Plan, manage, and balance electrical and mechanical engineering workloads to meet customer and project deadlines.
- Serve as the primary technical interface with customers during project execution.
- Lead engineering reviews of customer technical specifications and translate requirements into safe, compliant, high-quality equipment and systems.
- Review, approve, and oversee engineering designs, calculations, and subsequent product or process changes.
- Direct engineering testing activities; analyze, document, and communicate test results.
- Lead the resolution of complex technical and design issues across projects.
- Recommend and implement improvements to engineering procedures, methods, and objectives.
- Administer and review engineering work performed by third-party consultants to ensure analytical and technical soundness.
- Consult and negotiate with customers to finalize engineering project specifications.
- Present engineering plans, schedules, and progress updates to internal stakeholders and external partners.
- Ensure proper maintenance of engineering records, documentation, and design history files.
- Maintain current knowledge of applicable technologies, standards, and industry best practices.
- Develop and manage approved engineering budgets; monitor actual expenses and resolve variances.
- Negotiate with third-party engineering suppliers to achieve optimal technical and commercial outcomes.
- Approve engineering proposals, expenditures, and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Establish goals, objectives, and priorities for engineering staff; monitor performance and provide feedback.
- Delegate engineering work based on project schedules and resource availability.
- Drive accountability, quality, and on-time delivery within the Engineering Department.
- Lead cross-functional coordination between Engineering and Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Project Management.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of related engineering experience, including team leadership experience directing a team of engineers.

- Strong knowledge of HVAC and thermal management systems.
- Strong knowledge of medium- and low-voltage power distribution equipment.
- Working knowledge of ANSI, IEEE, NEC, and other applicable industry codes and standards.
- Experience with power system analysis and associated electrical calculations.
- Familiarity with power system components, equipment selection, and technical specifications.
- Proficiency with computer-aided design tools, including CAD, parametric, and BIM modeling software.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and manage engineers and technical staff.
- Knowledge of ISO quality systems and safety regulations.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
