Engineering Manager, Cloud Network Engineering

For our client, we are seeking a Engineering Manager, Cloud Network Engineering to join the team of a leader in the Hospitality & Recreation space. This role will support high-impact work that contributes directly to business performance and team success. You will collaborate across functions to move priorities forward, solve complex problems, and deliver measurable outcomes.

The position offers the opportunity to influence both strategic direction and day-to-day execution in a fast-moving environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $436,000 – $791,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Own the governance layer determining how the company workloads connect and are secured
• Build, mentor, and scale a cohesive team of software engineers
• Foster strong partnerships across engineering teams to align on solutions
• Develop network observability capabilities using eBPF for traffic visibility
• Lead the transition to policy-driven network configurations for microservices

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in software engineering and team leadership
• Strong understanding of Layer3/Layer4 networking and network security
• Proven ability to build and scale engineering teams effectively
• Experience with complex distributed systems, particularly on AWS
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Product-focused mindset with a passion for critical infrastructure platforms
• Ability to navigate and resolve organizational complexities
