ABOUT THE ROLE The Engineering Supervisor leads a team of engineers responsible for the design and delivery of precast concrete structures ensuring technical excellence safety and project execution This role combines hands on structural design responsibilities with leadership duties including team development workload coordination and cross functional collaboration The Engineering Supervisor ensures projects meet quality standards contractual requirements and schedule expectations while supporting continuous improvement across the engineering department Salary range 100000 175000 a year developmentCoordinate staffing workloads and schedules within the engineering departmentSupport HR and management with personnel matters and departmental policiesReview calculations and drawings for accuracy and compliance prior to sealingstampingEnsure structural designs meet safety quality and regulatory requirementsOversee project design teams and ensure successful delivery of engineering milestonesCollaborate with internal departments to resolve design production and construction issuesCommunicate with contractors architects engineers and owners on project requirementsProvide engineering support to sales and estimating teams for project pursuitsVisit manufacturing facilities and construction sites as needed for project oversightIdentify and resolve technical schedule and quality issues throughout project lifecycleApprove corrective actions and design adjustments when project issues ariseSupport continuous improvement and engineering best practices across teamsComplete additional engineering or leadership responsibilities as assignedWHO WERE LOOKING FOR The ideal candidate is an experienced structural engineering professional with a strong background in precast design and proven leadership capability They are confident in both technical decision making and team management with the ability to guide engineers while maintaining high standards for safety quality and performance This individual is collaborative accountable and skilled at balancing multiple projects while driving continuous improvement and delivering successful outcomes for complex structural projects IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE Bachelors degree in Engineering with structural focus required10 years of engineering experience preferably in precast or structural designProfessional Engineer PE license required and maintainedStrong leadership and team management experienceProficiency with Microsoft Office and engineering toolsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and prioritiesStrong problem solving and decision making abilitiesExperience collaborating with cross functional teams and external stakeholdersAbility to maintain professional client and customer interactionsWORKING CONDITIONSPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Occasional visits to active plant and field locations are required based on operational needsAbility to wear all required PPE including but not limited to safety boots safety glasses hearing protection high visibility vest hard hat and other PPE as required while in the plant and fieldMust be able to stand walk and navigate active plant and field environments as neededMust be able to climb stairs walk on uneven surfaces and safely move through industrial work areasMay be exposed to moving equipment machinery and other
