Montesano Bros., Inc. is seeking an Entry-Level Project Engineer to join our team in New Rochelle, NY. This full-time, on-site position supports the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.The Project Engineer will assist project managers and field teams by reviewing plans and specifications, tracking project progress, coordinating documentation, and helping ensure quality, safety, and compliance standards are met.

Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination activities
Support project managers with documentation, reporting, and project tracking
Review construction plans, specifications, and submittals
Help monitor project progress and assist in resolving issues
Support compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulations
Assist with inspections, documentation, and quality control processes
Promote adherence to company safety policies and procedures
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and field teams
Maintain organized project documentation and communication records
Provide administrative and technical support to ensure successful project delivery
Strong organizational and project coordination skills
Basic knowledge of project engineering and construction principles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
Eagerness to learn and grow within the construction industry
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred
Familiarity with project management software and construction practices is a plus
