Environment, Health and Safety Supervisor

What you will be doing:

• Manage the facility’s air, waste water and storm water permits and maintain compliance with the same.
• Manage the facility’s hazardous waste disposal and solid waste recycling activities.
• Train, equip and supervise the facility’s Emergency Response Team.
• Oversee safety compliance, the site’s Safety Based Observation System and achieving safety incident goals.
• Conduct EHS incident investigations, root cause analysis and corrective action.
• Oversee contractor safety activities
• Manage the facility’s ISO 14001 Environmental Management System.
• Work with EHS regulators and inspectors regarding regulatory programs, permits and compliance matters.
• Assist with internal EHS auditing.
• Develop and conduct EHS training as needed.
• Oversee and maintain Process Safety Management, Risk Management Program and related Process Hazard Analysis, Management of Change and Pre Startup Safety Review activities and systems.
• Oversee sight security activities.
• May perform other duties as needed.

What you need:

• Bachelor Degree in a science related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of EHS experience at a manufacturing facility and/or equivalent education and experience.
• Interpersonal skills adequate to influence, without direct authority, facility Environmental, Health and Safety efforts.
• Practical and hands-on experience in interpreting and meeting the regulatory requirements of Occupational Safety Health Administration, Department of Transportation and the Environmental Protection Agency.
• Training and experience in HAZMAT responses and response team management

(Air permitting, Industrial Waste Water, Industrial Safety, Hazardous Waste, Occupational Safety, OSHA Compliance, Risk Management, Emergency Response, Semi-conductor) This position is an on-site position with an annual salary range from $105,000.00 to $115,000.00 depending on education and experience
