ETL Developer with SQL and Python

Requirements

Must have:

- High School Diploma with over 7 years of pertinent experience in Information Technology - Proficiency in software development, particularly with substantial Java development, data analysis/parsing, and SQL/database expertise - Familiarity with the complete data lifecycle, encompassing ingest through display in a Big Data context - Knowledge of Java-related technologies including JDK, J2EE, EJB, JDBC, and/or Spring, as well as experience with RESTful APIs - Capability to develop and execute ETL tasks within a Linux environment - Preferred experience with Hadoop, Hbase, and MapReduce - Familiarity with Elasticsearch - Experience with NiFi, Kafka, and Zookeeper - Active/current TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance

Responsibilities:

- Design and implement large-scale data ingest systems in a Big Data setting - Optimize all phases of the data lifecycle, from planning to ingest and final presentation - Create and implement processes for data extraction, cleansing, transformation, loading, and replication/distribution - Develop custom solutions/code to integrate and utilize new as well as existing data sources - Collaborate with sponsor development teams to enhance application performance - Organize and maintain comprehensive documentation for team accessibility - Work alongside teammates, service providers, vendors, and users to innovate more efficient methods
