Requirements
Must have:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field - At least 5 years of experience in failure analysis or electrical testing, ideally within the aerospace sector - Proficiency with IPC, Oscilloscopes, Failure Analysis, Test, Labview, and NI TestStand - Strong analytical skills and the ability to approach problems methodically - Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, capable of explaining complex technical concepts - Demonstrated teamwork skills and the capacity to collaborate with cross-disciplinary groups - Proven experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives and enacting corrective measures - Awareness of quality standards and regulations relevant to the Aerospace industry - Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines - Keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive failure analysis on internal and customer return products to identify underlying causes of failures - Utilize various tools and methodologies such as IPC, Oscilloscopes, Labview, and NI TestStand for analysis and troubleshooting - Formulate and apply corrective actions to avert future failures - Present findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality groups - Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives to boost product reliability and performance - Record all failure analysis activities, encompassing observations, testing outcomes, conclusions, and recommendations - Collaborate with design teams to integrate failure analysis insights into product enhancements and new designs - Offer technical assistance to customers and field service engineers as required
