Field Support Engineer - Technical Focus

Requirements

Must have:

- Demonstrated experience in Surface Mount Technology (SMT) - Bachelor of Science degree required; preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline - Fundamental understanding and hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems - Prior field service or customer support experience is essential - Basic proficiency in Windows operating systems and networking concepts - Openness to travel up to 20% - Valid drivers license and dependable mode of transportation

Responsibilities:

- Act as a technical conduit between customers and our engineering teams - Identify and resolve intricate mechanical, electrical, software, and process-related concerns - Diagnose and troubleshoot industrial machinery and software issues at customer locations - Offer on-site and remote engineering assistance to reduce customer downtime - Support clients with network configuration and administration, including Windows and database server setup - Maintain service activity documentation and comprehensive service logs - Provide customer training on our software products as necessary - Execute services in alignment with company policies, procedures, and service manuals - Elevate technical issues and suggest enhancements to maintain quality standards
