We are an early-stage, seed-funded company working directly with our initial, lighthouse production bank customers. The technical foundations established now will define the platform's credibility, scalability, and long-term differentiation.

The Role We are hiring a Founding Client Engineer – Bank Data & Platform Enablement to lead the technical onboarding and operationalization of the QORRO platform within bank environments.

This is a senior, hands-on engineering role with direct responsibility for how QORRO platform is deployed, integrated, and scaled across client banks.

You will serve as the primary technical authority working with bank technology, data, and security teams, while collaborating closely with QORRO's product, data science, and leadership teams.

The role combines strong skills in data engineering, platform engineering, and knowledge of modern MLOps practices, with accountability for production-grade delivery in regulated financial environments.

Responsibilities In this role, you will take primary responsibility for the technical implementation of QORRO's platform within client bank environments.

You will lead technical discovery with bank clients to develop a clear understanding of their data ecosystems, including core banking systems, digital platforms, data warehouses or lakehouses, and existing data extraction processes.

You will translate these findings into onboarding architecture and routines that meet bank security, compliance, and operational requirements.

You will own the mapping of bank source data into QORRO's standardized analytics-ready schemas. You will define transformation logic, document assumptions, and ensure consistency across client implementations, while building reusable adapters for common core banking systems.

You will design and implement robust ETL/ELT pipelines capable of processing large-scale banking datasets with millions of records. You will own the full data lifecycle from raw ingestion through standardized and feature-ready layers within QORRO's Lakehouse architecture.

You will work closely with QORRO's product and data science teams to ensure that platform capabilities evolve in alignment with real-world bank data constraints and operational needs.

You will use learnings from client onboarding to directly inform product design, AI/ML model requirements, and roadmap priorities.

You will ensure that downstream model execution and output publication are reliably supported. This includes enabling feature generation for predictive models, supporting model scoring, and associated banker-ready workflows.

You will represent QORRO's technical rigor in interactions with bank stakeholders, supporting design and implementation reviews, security assessments, and compliance discussions.

You will maintain clear documentation related to data lineage, access controls, and operational processes. As a founding client engineer, you will also help shape QORRO's long-term technical foundation.

You will contribute to defining onboarding standards, platform conventions, and internal tooling that enable repeatability, scale, and sustained technical credibility.

Technical Environment

• AI Native application using ML and Generative AI models and related technologies.
• Cloud-native platform (Google Cloud Platform (GCP) preferred)
• SQL and Python-based data pipelines
• Lakehouse architecture with strong governance and data quality controls
• ML-ready feature engineering with point-in-time correctness

Ideal Candidate Profile / Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in data engineering, platform engineering, and AI/ML Ops.
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and operating AI/ML systems in production
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (GCP preferred)
• Prior experience in banking, fintech, or other regulated data environments is preferred
• Familiarity with common core banking data models and systems (e.g., Fiserv DNA / Finxact, FIS IBS/Profile, Jack Henry) preferred but not required
• Experience working directly with enterprise clients, senior stakeholders, and geographically dispersed product teams.
• Prior experience in a startup in an engineering role is a plus.
