Front End/Java Script Developer (multiple locations available)
Hartford, CT or Braintree, MA or Windsor, CT
6 months Contract to Hire
Looking for a skilled Front-end developer to assist with the creation and support of its next generation web framework. Applicants should have multiple years' experience with HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, SASS, BackboneJS + Marionette, NodeJS, GIT. Understanding of mobile first and responsive design is highly encouraged, as well as creating hybrid applications through the use of Phonegap/Cordova.
Minimum of 3 years' experience building Javascript applications with BackboneJS, as well as using NodeJS/ExpressJS for server side rendering.
Minimum of 3 years' experience building websites with HTML/CSS/Javascript and responsive design techniques.
Experience with new build frameworks/tools like Grunt/SASS/YeoMan/NPM is a plus.
Familiarity with application testing and debugging with Karma/Mocha/Chai.
Basic understanding accessibility standards (Section 508 / WCAG 2.0).
Contributions to OpenSource projects on GitHub a plus
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline/budget driven work environment.
Ability to manage multiple projects and to prioritize effectively
