Requirements
Must have:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related discipline - Over 6 years of experience in the design and implementation of web applications - Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies - Professional expertise in front-end frameworks and web technologies, including HTML/CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript, web components, Node.js, or Angular - Strong understanding of open-source stack technologies and web application/API security - Comprehensive technical background in developing enterprise digital applications utilizing MVC design pattern, micro front-end strategies, and open microservice architectures - Practical experience with Node.js and Java - Demonstrated capability in building digital RESTful APIs - Profound knowledge of version control systems using various Git workflows - Established experience in DevOps best practices and tools such as Jenkins or Jenkins Core, and Git/GitHub - In-depth understanding of cloud solutions, serverless architecture, and containerization strategies - Proven expertise in container and cloud technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS, alongside secure application development - Commitment to quality-first, testable solutions utilizing Test-Driven Development (TDD) and automation - Strong awareness of secure coding standards and practices - Significant experience in leading within a collaborative, team-oriented environment with a focus on learning, mentoring, and empowering others
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with architecture, security, and user experience design teams to develop apps that meet compliance standards - Partnering with platform squads to establish engineering standards, best practices, and tooling - Providing engineering thought leadership to enhance Health Care benefits and management outcomes while promoting a cloud-first approach - Working with team members and stakeholders to identify and resolve issues - Maintaining a forward-thinking stance by aligning architecture, user experience, and security with chapters and Centers of Excellence (COEs) - Supporting a cloud-first paradigm by upskilling and enhancing squads with a solid understanding of AWS native services
