Full Stack Developer

Position SummaryThe Christian and Missionary Alliance C&MA is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer This is a full time position located in Reynoldsburg Ohio This position works under the direction of the Director for Software and Engineering and is responsible for designing and developing web applications In the performance of these duties this position will support the overall mission of the C&MA as described below Specific DutiesSupports primary Alliance applications for the National Office District Offices Alliance Affiliates and Alliance Associations by developing new features and completing ongoing maintenanceDevelops new applications as needed Responsible for authentication for all non employee Alliance systems currently via IP BoardResponsible for high quality on time delivery of projectsConsults with AOMs on projects contracted to third party organizations eg Alliance Benefits websiteWorks collaboratively with Software Engineering team members Development team and other stakeholders to identify needs present ideas define timelines and build solutions for AOM needsResponsible for regularly communicating status updates and timeline to stakeholdersDesigns and develops test casesEnsures proper documentation of all systems Assesses new technologies for adoption and implementationReviews code for other team membersAdopts SDLC lifecycle best practices & agile methodologies Serves as a backup for other Software Engineer team membersOther duties as assignedThe Christian and Missionary Alliance The Alliance the C&MA was birthed in 1887 from a vision of Pastor A B Simpson in New York City who became heartbroken over the plight of the homeless the immigrant and the marginalized Today we share his passion to offer tangible help and lasting hope to the worlds neediest people We believe that from the beginning of time God set in motion a loving plan for humanity that is carried out in each of us through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ We believe the best way to see this plan fulfilled is by extending His love to those who have yet to experience it Through 2000 churches in the United States and 700 workers in 70 countries we pay forward the love of Jesus to suffering and overlooked people in our communities and throughout the world through a wide variety of developmental and compassionate care projects and initiatives Because the C&MA is a Christ centered global movement we place a high value on employing a diverse multicultural workforce to accomplish His Great Commission Accordingly we will be proactive throughout our hiring process to embrace and cultivate racial and ethnic diversity among our US National Office staff RequirementsFour year college degree in a related field required5 plus years developing enterprise level full stack web applicationsExperience working in Agile environment Experience writing application tests Unit Integration etc Requires 5 7 years of experience in a related positionExperience with data pipelines or data warehousing preferredBenefitsSalary range 75500 to 92400 per year Health plan medicaldentalvisionHSALife Insurance403b retirement plan with a percentage of employer matchingRetirement grantLong Term disabilityPaid time off vacationholidayspersonal daysSick time accrues with additional extended illness bank for rollover hoursOther paid leave compassionate care jury duty parental etcEmployee assistance program
