Full Stack developer

Contract to hire position for a major financial firm

Hybrid in Newark, N/week

Must Haves

-Strong hands-on experience with React.js (hooks, state management, component-based architecture) for building responsive, scalable UIs.

-Solid backend development experience using Node.js (Express/NestJS) and RESTful API design.

-Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript across full stack (frontend + backend) .

-Experience designing and integrating REST/GraphQL APIs and microservices architectures.

-Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (e.g., EC2, S3, API Gateway, Lambda) .

-Working knowledge of containerization using Docker and deployment to AWS ECS (or EKS)

-Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments in AWS environments

-Understanding of cloud infrastructure concepts (VPC, IAM, load balancing, auto scaling)

-Proficiency with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or NoSQL) and query optimization

-Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch)
