Requirements
Must have:
- Proficiency in C# and ASP.NET - Strong knowledge of SQL Server and database administration - Experience with DevOps tools and practices is an advantage - Background in Agile software delivery is an advantage - Strong analytical thinking and creative problem-solving skills - Highly self-driven, organized, and detail-oriented - Ability to prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting - Ability to adapt quickly and learn unfamiliar technologies - Strong customer focus and experience working in a collaborative, diverse team - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities - Familiarity with project management concepts is an asset - A bachelors degree in a STEM discipline such as Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Math is preferred - Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is an asset - Business experience in aerospace or manufacturing is an asset - Practical knowledge of the job area - A bachelors degree plus at least 4 years of related experience, or a graduate degree with 2 years of related experience, or 8 years of related experience in lieu of a degree
Responsibilities:
- Research, design, and develop computer software systems - Participate in all stages of the development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, integration, and testing - Apply computer science, engineering, and mathematical principles to build the target application - Work with cross-functional teams to define and evaluate interfaces, operational performance needs, and overall system design - Develop test procedures, software programs, and supporting documentation - Help estimate, validate, and define the cost and scope of software efforts to meet budget, schedule, and technical constraints - Build and maintain web applications using C#, ASP.NET, and Microsoft SQL - Partner with cross-functional teams to define, design, and release new features - Produce clean, maintainable, and efficient code - Troubleshoot, diagnose, and debug applications - Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness - Create responsive, device-independent designs using HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, JavaScript, and Bootstrap - Develop unit tests to improve code quality and reliability - Lead small to medium feature development efforts - Contribute in an agile team environment - Participate actively in code reviews and provide constructive feedback - Refactor and improve existing codebases and modules for better performance and maintainability
