About The Role We are seeking a passionate and experienced Full Stack Developer specializing in Python with Django to join our remote team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on developing and maintaining web applications that are critical to our clients' success.

The ideal candidate will have at least three years of hands-on experience in building scalable web solutions, with a strong emphasis on backend development using Django and PostgreSQL. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers and frontend developers, to create seamless, efficient, and user-friendly applications. Additionally, you will be involved in frontend development, working with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Bootstrap and jQuery, ensuring a cohesive and responsive user experience.

The role also requires familiarity with server deployment, especially on Ubuntu, and proficiency in testing and debugging to optimize application performance. If you are proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to innovative projects in a fast-paced environment, this position is ideal for you.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in web application development using Python and Django framework.
• Proven expertise in generating efficient querysets with Django ORM.
• Strong understanding of frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap 3+ and jQuery.
• Hands-on experience with Ubuntu server environments and application deployment.
• Familiarity with GraphQL (Graphene) is highly valued.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and project requirements.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
• Experience in the hospitality or tourism sector and familiarity with React Native are desirable but not mandatory.
• Intermediate proficiency in English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications utilizing Django framework, ensuring code quality and performance.
• Create and optimize querysets using Django ORM to facilitate efficient data retrieval and manipulation.
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers and frontend developers to implement new features and enhance existing functionalities.
• Participate in frontend development tasks, including designing responsive interfaces with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and jQuery.
• Manage application deployment processes on Ubuntu servers, ensuring stability and security.
• Perform thorough testing and debugging of applications to identify and resolve issues promptly.
• Design and prototype new features using tools like Figma, emphasizing reusable components and maintainability.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices to continually improve development processes.
• Contribute to team knowledge sharing and documentation to promote best practices within the organization.
