Mid-Level Full Stack Developer (React / Node.js)

Overview
We are seeking a Mid-Level React / Node.js Developer to join our growing development team. The ideal candidate will have strong front-end development experience building modern web applications using React, along with working knowledge of Node.js and API integration. This role is primarily focused on front-end application development, with occasional backend and database interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using React.js
- Build reusable UI components and implement modern front-end best practices
- Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs
- Develop and maintain lightweight Node.js backend services as needed
- Create, update, and retrieve data from relational databases
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across the full stack
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to development standards
Required Skills & Experience
Front-End Development (Primary Focus)
- 3–5 years of experience developing web applications with React.js
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks, libraries, and state management
- Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
Backend Development
- Working knowledge of Node.js
- Experience consuming and posting data through REST APIs
- Understanding of asynchronous programming and API integration patterns
Database Experience
- Basic to intermediate SQL skills
- Experience inserting, updating, and retrieving data from databases
- Familiarity with SQL databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL
- MongoDB experience is a plus, but SQL experience is preferred
- No heavy database development or DBA experience required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Familiarity with Git and source control best practices
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus
- Experience troubleshooting API and data integration issues
