Full Stack Developer

Requirements

Must have:

- We require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DOD TS/SCI clearance.

• We are looking for a bachelors degree in a STEM discipline; a computer science degree is preferred.
• We need strong front-end skills in CSS, JavaScript, and HTML, including familiarity with Sass and LESS.
• We expect solid experience with Linux, PHP, and MySQL, plus working knowledge of MongoDB, PostgreSQL, AngularJS, Express.js, Oracle, React, Ember, and Node.js.
• We value experience with JavaScript build tools such as Bower, Grunt, and Gulp.
• We seek experience with development languages such as Java, .NET, Python, PHP, or Ruby.
• We want hands-on experience with server technologies including Apache, IIS, Node.js, Nginx, and J2EE.
• We require experience designing and developing API and RESTful services.
• We look for familiarity with Backbone.js, jQuery, and AJAX.
• We need excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and effective problem-solving ability.
• We prefer candidates who can work independently or as part of a team.
• We value a strong understanding of AWS IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS services.
• We prefer experience creating container images with Docker Compose.
• We prefer fluency in GitOps.
• We prefer experience with identity and access management technologies.
• We prefer experience working in Agile environments and using Jira and Confluence.
• We prefer experience with monitoring and logging tools, especially Splunk.
• We prefer one of the following AWS certifications: SysOps Administrator Associate, Developer Associate, Solutions Architect Associate, or a related professional-level certification.
• We prefer at least 3 years of experience working with GitLab.

Responsibilities:

- We develop visually engaging front-end website architecture by converting design mockups and wireframes into production code.

• We design user interactions for web pages.
• We build back-end databases, applications, and servers that support websites.
• We ensure mobile and cross-platform optimization.
• We design and implement RESTful services and APIs.
• We stay current on advances in web applications and programming languages.
• We help shape the organizations direction on emerging technology platforms and communicate their value to executive stakeholders.
• We provide insight on modern software approaches, architectures, and vendors.
• We make sure security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability are considered in solution architecture.
• We keep our technical knowledge current through training, research, professional reading, networking, and industry involvement.
