Requirements
Must have:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field - Minimum of two years of experience in Full Stack development - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication abilities - Must reside in the Grand Rapids, MI area or be willing to commute - Preferred familiarity with PHP, JavaScript, React, HTML5/CSS, and Python - In-depth knowledge of REST API concepts and server-side programming - Experience in Unix environments and SQL optimization - Beneficial skills include Bootstrap, AWS (API Gateway, CloudFormation, EC2), Postman, VSCode, IBM System i RPGLE, DataDog, IBM DB2, and Cron
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the H.T. Hackney Web Portal, REST API, and internal database - Collaborate across departments to grasp business concepts and integrate them programmatically - Ensure the implementation of solutions that align with company requirements - Engage with team members to refine project specifications and deliverables - Participate in troubleshooting and optimizing existing systems - Contribute to the enhancement of the overall user experience - Maintain documentation for both processes and systems
