Job Title : Fullstack Architect (React, Python, AI)

Job location : Seattle WA -Hybrid

We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Architect with strong expertise in React frontend development and Python backend services to build and enhance a data-driven analytics platform. The role involves developing modern UI experiences, designing REST APIs, integrating with upstream data services, and collaborating closely with Data Engineering and Business Intelligence teams to deliver scalable, high-performance applications

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain React frontend components, including metric dashboards, pivot and rollup views, data tables, filtering interfaces, and export functionality.
• Develop Python backend services and REST APIs that serve as the application layer between the frontend and underlying data services.
• Integrate the application layer with upstream data services and APIs, ensuring accurate, reliable, and high-performance data delivery to the frontend.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and Business Intelligence Engineers (BIEs) to translate frontend requirements into data contracts, influence upstream table design, and ensure the data layer supports application needs.
• Participate in code reviews, unit and integration testing, documentation, and production deployments.

Technical Environment

• Frontend: React-based Single Page Application (SPA) utilizing a shared component architecture across CLS products.
• Backend: Python-based services with a REST API layer.
• Data Layer: Structured query results and precomputed datasets exposed through APIs from the data engineering platform.
• AI Integration: LLM-powered conversational interface enabling natural language metric exploration.
• Infrastructure: AWS-native ecosystem including Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and cloud-hosted data pipelines.
• Collaboration: Cross-functional team consisting of Software Development Engineers (SDEs), Data Engineers (DEs), and Business Intelligence Engineers (BIEs).

Qualifications

• Proven years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with React and modern frontend development, including:
• Component architecture
• State management
• API integration
• Proficiency in Python for backend service development.
• Experience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including:
• Code reviews
• Source control management
• CI/CD pipelines
• Unit and integration testing
• Experience building and maintaining RESTful APIs in production environments.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional engineering and data teams.
• Exposure to AWS cloud services and modern data-driven application architectures is preferred.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM-powered applications is a plus.
