SSRS Developer

Location: Remote

We are seeking an experienced SSRS professional to design, develop, optimize, migrate, and support enterprise reporting solutions. The role requires strong hands-on expertise in SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL development, report performance tuning, large PDF/paginated reporting, report migration, and enterprise reporting operations.

The ideal candidate should be able to work independently with business users, database teams, and application stakeholders to modernize legacy reports, troubleshoot complex performance issues, and deliver scalable reporting solutions.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Advanced SQL query writing and stored procedure development.
• Experience with Report Builder, Visual Studio / SSDT, datasets, parameters, expressions, and report layouts.
• Good understanding of shared data sources, shared datasets, embedded datasets, and report parameters.
• Experience in report performance tuning and troubleshooting.
• Ability to design large PDF/paginated reports with appropriate pagination and rendering considerations.
• Understanding of SSRS security, subscriptions, deployment, and report server operations.
• Strong communication skills to explain reporting architecture and technical decisions to stakeholders.
