Job Title: GCP DevOps Engineer

Location: Buffalo, NY (Hybrid)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Required Skills:

GCP Platform DevOps Engineer:

• Technology : GCP Core Services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud Logging and Monitoring), Python, Terraform, Airflow/Composer.
• Build, deploy, and maintain GCP infrastructure using best practices
• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments
• Automate cloud provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / Deployment Manager)
• Support Dev, Test, and Production environments with high availability and reliability
• Manage and support GCP services across environments
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve platform and pipeline issues
• Perform routine platform operations such as upgrades, patching, and key rotation
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting for cloud workloads
• Support cloud migration activities (re host, re platform, refactor)
• Assist application teams with onboarding and DevOps enablement
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and security teams
• Configure and manage VPCs, subnets, DNS, load balancers, VPNs, and IAM
• Enforce security best practices including least privilege access and service accounts
• Support governance, compliance, and access provisioning for teams
