Northern Illinois University ( NIU ) is accepting applications for the position of Head Coach Cross Country. This is a full-time, 12-month position with benefits. This position will be responsible for management and administration of all phases of the women’s cross country program, student-athletes and staff.
In addition, this position will provide support to the entire Women’s Track and Field program as assigned by the Head Coach/ Director of Track and Field. This is a professional coaching position, and all of the duties of the position must be conducted in adherence with the policies, rules and regulations of affiliated national, regional and state intercollegiate athletic associations, the Mid-American conference (or subsequent member conference) and the university. The mission of NIU Athletics is to enhance the University, community and region through service and engagement while developing champions in the classroom, in competition and in life.
