Job description:

Primary Skill:

Informatica, DAC, PLSQL

Secondary Skill:

Shell Scripting, OBIEE Reporting Exposure,

Functional Knowledge:

Oracle Financial Analytics and Oracle EBS Source

Nice to have:

Python Scripting. 1. Design, Development, Unit Testing, System Testing, Maintenance, Enhancements and Support of Informatica and DAC (OBIA Financial Analytics Environment with customization). 2. Good understanding on shell scripts.
Strong PL/SQL experience to be able to analyze the data from different source / downstream systems
Perform data discrepancy / mismatch analysis between different systems, report the difference for the business user review with recommendation on resolving the discrepancy.
Interact with business users and understand data integration requirements, analyze and come up with optimal technology solutions to meet the business requirements
Perform Code development/enhancements as per finalized technical specification document; Follow coding standards and best practices to check code quality; Obtain approval from stakeholders on the test scenarios validated to proceed with code deployment
Write high level and low-level design documents; Conduct peer code review
Understand re-usability, parameterization, error logging and invoking ETL jobs through shell scripts
Collaborate with other internal or external teams on projects such as sourcing data feed and providing external data 10. Branch off the existing code in the version control tool; Identify configurable items; Maintain version control across different configurable items (documents component, data mapping clarification document etc.)
Carrying out investigation of root cause analysis
Improving data processing speed by building SQL automation, Tweaking SQL Queries for best performance
Strong Data Analysis and reconciliation skills
On Call and production support activities for the informatica data loads.
Must have good verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to look beyond the detailed requirements to understand what the business is trying to do
Must be able to develop and maintain documentation to industry standards Perform testing of the reports developed and apply break fixes.
Collaborate with other internal or external teams on projects such as sourcing data feed and providing external data
Create source to target to reporting field mapping and reference documents
