Requirements
Must have:
- 4-5 years of relevant experience - Strong foundational knowledge in firmware and hardware engineering - Extensive experience with embedded systems - Comfortable engaging directly with hardware, firmware, and third-party integrations - Effective communication skills with external technical partners (non-business-facing) - Proficient in C programming (game is developed in C , focusing on hardware/firmware interaction) - Familiarity with Unreal Engine is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support integration efforts for firmware and hardware in TruGolfs camera-based tracking systems - Finalize and develop hardware and firmware for a new version of the tracking system scheduled for an August release - Troubleshoot, stabilize, and enhance existing hardware and tracking technologies - Address and mitigate a backlog of third-party hardware integrations - Engage hands-on with embedded systems and real-time hardware/software communication - Collaborate directly with engineering contacts at partner companies for effective collaboration - Work closely with firmware, hardware, game, and web engineering teams to achieve smooth system integration
