About the Role The WordPress Developer Intern will serve as the primary owner of WorldTech IT’s website, helping maintain, update, and improve a live B2B digital presence used by customers, prospects, and internal teams. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real experience in website operations, landing page development, performance optimization, and digital marketing support while partnering closely with marketing and sales. This role pays $20 to $25 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the WorldTech IT WordPress website, including content, plugins, themes, and security updates.
• Build landing pages, blog templates, and new site features in partnership with marketing.
• Optimize site performance, page speed, and core technical SEO foundations.
• Implement and maintain analytics tracking, including Google Analytics 4, HubSpot, and tag management tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with the Content and Enablement Manager on publishing workflows and content updates.
• Ensure strong mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility across site experiences.
• Support hosting administration, backups, and site security protocols.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Web Development, Computer Science, or a related field.

Required Skills

• Working knowledge of WordPress, including themes, plugins, and page builders.
• Basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics or similar web analytics tools.
• Understanding of SEO fundamentals and website performance best practices.
• Demonstrated ownership, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with design tools such as Figma or Canva.
• Exposure to B2B website workflows, CMS publishing, or landing page optimization.
